Mrs. Edna Cormier, of Foyer St-Thomas and formerly of Dover, passed away March 20, 1999 at the Dr. Georges-L.Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Edna Gautreau Born in Gautreau Village, she was the daughter of the late Adélard Gautreau and the late Agathe Boudreau. She attended Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church. She was a retired Ward Aid at The Moncton Hospital. She was a member of the Golden Age Club de Pré-d'en-Haut.

She is survived by four daughters, Doris (Claude) Melanson of Little Dover Rd., Murielle (Réal) LeBlanc of Dover, Joanne (Léo) LeBlanc of Cormier's Cove and Phyllis (Jacques) Bruchesi of Ottawa, ON; one son, Victor (Florence) Cormier of Conway, New Hampshire; three sisters, Irene (Fred) Bourgault, Rock Forrest, QU, Bernadette (Late Arthur) St-Martin of Wahnapeter, ON and Bernice (Léo) Lirette of Dover; three brothers, Robert Gautreau of Pré-d'en-Haut, Georgie (Jeannette) Gautreau of Grimbsy, ON, Jean-Paul (Tina) Gautreau of Waltham, Mass; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edgar Cormier in 1994; two sisters, Yvonne and Oliva; two brothers, Oscar and Arthur.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with the Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut, Monday March 22, 1999, at 7:00 p.m., Father Sylvio Doiron officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
